Nursing Necklaces
A Celebration of A Partnership
Brandy created these necklaces with the hopes of furthering the breastfeeding relationship and friendship between a mother and her nursing child. These necklaces also hold thoughts of women everywhere who simply want to wear something beautiful even if they don't have a nursing child.
Nursing Necklaces
My friends, their children, and my nursing relationship with my own children inspire these necklaces. Nursing mothers everywhere know that at a certain age most nursing babies become interested in their surroundings while they nurse. They may pull off of the breast more often, they may begin to pinch their mother's arms or breasts and they may even try and twiddle the other nipple. While these things may be cute at first, mothers quickly discover how irritating or uncomfortable these habits can become. By wearing a nursing necklace the child has something to focus on and play with and can occupy their hands without hurting their mama.
Brandy's nursing necklaces are made from materials such as: glass beads and pendants, Swarovski crystals, gemstone pieces and pendants, Dichroic glass pendants, etc. Each necklace has a beautiful 100% silk ribbon that is tied in the back with two glass beads to allow for adjustability. The necklaces can be shortened if the wearer prefers or lengthened for the child to play with while nursing.
As for the safety of these necklaces, please be advised that while they have multiple, durable, strong sterling silver findings such as crimp tubes, soldered jump rings and SoftFlex wire (a wire constructed of 49 strands of micro woven, stainless steel wire, braided together and then coated with nylon) which the beads are threaded on, they aren't to be left with a child unsupervised and are not intended for the child to wear or to use to teeth on. Accidents do happen and these necklaces do contain small pieces which could pose a choking hazard and a ribbon so please be advised that you are to use your own common sense and that Brandy is in no way held liable for any misuse or negligence of this product and that you use them at your own risk.
